Order Questions

  • How do I make an order?

    Making an order on The Ritualist store couldn’t be easier! All you need to do is browse our menus or use our search to find exactly what you are looking for, then click “Add to Bag”.

    The Ritualist automatically adds your luxury hair and beauty products to your bag as you shop. All you need to do to checkout is simply click on the small bag icon in the top right of your browser window (which will have a running tally of your total spend) and then that will take you to your shopping bag. Check you’ve got everything you need and then click “Checkout” at the bottom right of that page!

    Et voila! Hair and beauty perfection in the blink of an eye.

    Make sure you also fill out our little questionnaire at the bottom of the details page when you create an account as that way when we send you some free samples we can tailor them exactly to your hair type and needs!

  • I’ve just placed an order. Where is my confirmation email?

    Please allow up to 24 hours for your confirmation email to be received in your registered email address inbox. We recommend checking your Junk/Spam mail folder as well. If you do not receive a confirmation email within this time frame, simply send an email to our Customer Care team at hello@theritualist.com.au

  • I’m unable to place my order. What do I do?

    If an error message keeps occurring in your check out process, more often than not there is a credit card problem, or a defect with the billing or shipping address you are trying to use. To fix this error, try re-formatting the names and addresses in your billing or shipping information. Make sure that you using the correct billing postcode that is associated with your credit card.

  • What about if the product breaks or is faulty?

    In this case, we’re happy to provide a refund, replacement, exchange or store credit, including all postage costs. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

  • What if I’m happy with a product I’ve purchased?

    We always want our Ritualist community to love everything they buy from us and since we curate every product on our site you can be sure of two things: 1. the product does what it says and 2. it is easy to use. So if you think that you’ve gotten a dud or don’t know how to use your new purchase get in touch with us ASAP on hello@theritualist.com.au and we can sort it out for you.

  • Why create an account when you place an order?

    Creating an account with The Ritualist allows you to purchase items, manage your shopping cart and view the order status online.

  • What’s our Return Policy?

    We allow 60 day returns from date of purchase, as long as items are all in original condition (unused and unopened). Returned items must be received by us in the same condition as you received them, so please pack up any returned items carefully to ensure that they arrive safely.

    Please contact us via email (hello@theritualist.com.au) to let us know the reason why you’re returning the items back to us.

Payment Questions

  • Is it safe to use my credit card online?

    Absolutely! Our secure checkout uses the web’s finest encryption so you can rest assured that using your credit card on our site is as safe as any transaction you would do offline! We never store your credit card details and ensure that all of our transactions are double checked for accuracy!

    Should you ever feel as though you’ve been overcharged by us or any error whatsoever has occurred give us a call on (02) 9368 1181 and we will follow it up immediately. While it hasn’t ever happened to us, we are ready to go (guns-a-blazing) if any security issues were to ever occur.

    We also offer a Paypal option however recommend that you process all credit card transactions through our server as it is more secure than using Paypal. Should you have a Paypal account you’d like to pay with, then by all means opt for the Paypal option.
